Yesterday I went to Tel Aviv with a friend, to visit the first discounted designer shoes fair. It was messy, annoying, and altogether ugly, but I still managed to buy the shoes I went there for 20% off then in the shop. I wanted them in red with fuchsia flower, but they didn't have my size, so I got the black with red flower. Actually, I think it will serve me much better. Meet my srping/summer 2009 shoes. I doubt if I will get more sandals this year, as I have a recession going on.
After the disappointment of the shoe fair (my friend didn't find anything she liked) we went to one of our favorite places, in the Jaffa flea market for some cocktails, and find dining. I had a single cookie for dessert, yay me!
I woke up today to find our sun terrace is blossoming with wonderful colors. Perfect match to my shoes! Pink and orange sun flowers on the terrace planter.
The grape vine is also starting to recuperate from the cold winter.
And on the windows, the cactuses are blooming in sweet pink.
